San Francisco – Patrick Charley has joined Deltaway Energy International, Inc. as the company’s business development manager for large projects in Europe, Asia and South America. Charley comes to the California-based waste-to-energy (WTE) facilities design and management firm following a 28-year career with Veolia ES. With Veolia, he held extended project management and general management positions in Portugal and Brazil, following many years overseeing operations and maintenance and financial and commercial affairs at multiple WTE plants.

One of the world’s largest waste-to-energy facilities recorded the best performance in nearly 40 years of operation, with help from Deltaway Energy, Inc., a major San Francisco-based waste-to-energy (WTE) facilities design and management firm. The performance improvement grew out of a five-year facilities maintenance and engineering contract between Deltaway and the plant’s owners, AVR; KKR Capstone, London; and CVC Capital Partners.

San Francisco – Ephraim Taylor has joined Deltaway Energy, Inc. as Senior Outage Manager at the 3,500 TPD WTE Facility at the Rozenburg WTE plant in the Netherlands. Taylor comes to the waste-to-energy (WTE) facilities design and management firm from Veolia ES, where he was manager of maintenance at the company’s Pinellas County WTE facility in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was previously resident project representative at the site for CDM, an engineering and consulting firm.

The new edition, from Amsterdam-based global publisher Elsevier, explores and clarifies the wide range of developments in Waste-to-Energy (WTE) in the 24 years since the release of the first edition.
